As you may not know, I've decided to run for the President-Elect position of the Women's Council of Realtors Northwest Indiana board. I have been a member of our local chapter since 2023. During this time, I have had the experience to witness, network and learn from many amazing individuals within this organization and our industry. I've been able to see the progressive growth of this chapter since its beginning and wish to be a part of its continued path of development. This year I had the privilege to serve as the Leadership Identification and Development Chair for the Women's Council of Realtors Indiana State board. Through this experience, I have met, learned from, and worked with even more incredible Women's Council members across the state who have mirrored the values Women's Council supports. In addition, I am also completing the path to acquire my PMN (Performance Management Network) designation through the Women's Council of Realtors.
Women's Council was founded to inspire leadership among our community and encourage growth personally, professionally and collectively. As a quote from Robin S Sharma states, "Leadership is not a title or designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration." As leaders, our focus is to build confidence, encourage and inspire others, and outstretch our hand to bring others with us on the journey. This is the "why" so many of us become involved with the Women's Council of Realtors, at least it was paramount in my own decision. It has been the focus echoed throughout the organization in the local chapter, our state chapter, and nationally. It's not just "I am Women's Council", it's "We are Women's Council"
