The last 2 weeks, our office / temporary offices have been filled with something we’re incredibly grateful for, clients sitting across the table from us, signing papers, celebrating new beginnings, and closing on their homes. 🏡🔑

But even as we celebrate these happy moments, our hearts are still heavy for the communities around us that continue to recover from Storm Lucy.

We know that behind the smiles and closing-day photos, there are families still without power, homes that have been damaged, businesses working to reopen, and neighbors trying to put the pieces back together.

So today, we’re holding space for both, the joy of the clients we get to serve and the heartbreak our community is still experiencing.

We are thankful, thankful for every client who trusts us with one of life’s biggest moments, and most of all, thankful for the strength and kindness we continue to see throughout NWI. 🖤

The power is back on, and the Barrister Title team is officially back in our office!

A HUGE thank you to all of our clients, agents, lenders, and partners for your patience and understanding while we navigated the storm and worked through closings out of the BHGRE office in Crown Point. We truly appreciate everyone who helped us keep things moving during a challenging few days!

We’re grateful to be back, powered up, and ready to get back to doing what we do best - making your closing experience smooth from start to finish. 🏡✨

Our thoughts are with everyone across Northwest Indiana who were impacted by yesterday’s severe storms. 🖤

Unfortunately, Barrister Title is currently without power, which means we are unable to access or respond to emails at this time. Our Oak Forest office is also without power at this time.

If you have something urgent that needs attention, please reach out directly to Kandi or Bailey. Please keep in mind that cell service is also spotty, so responses may take a little longer than they normally would.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works through the storm’s aftermath. We’ll be back up and running as soon as we can!

Tomorrow is already August 1st?! Julying!!

As we wrap up another busy month, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for every buyer, seller, lender, attorney, and Realtor who trusted Barrister Title to be part of their journey.

Every closing tells a different story. Some families found their forever home, some started exciting new chapters, and others said goodbye to homes filled with years of memories. No matter the story, it’s an honor to help make the final step as smooth and memorable as possible.
