3. No Advertising or Promotions
Refrain from promoting businesses or services unless it’s part of an approved local business post. Personal advertisements and spam will be removed.
4. Relevant Neighborhood Topics Only
Posts should relate to the neighborhood, such as local events, safety concerns, recommendations, and lost or found items. Off-topic posts will be removed.
5. No Hate Speech or Bullying
Any content promoting hate, racism, sexism, or bullying will result in an immediate ban.
6. Keep It Family-Friendly
Content should be appropriate for all ages. Avoid posting anything that’s vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate for a public forum.
7. Report Issues to Admins
If you encounter any issues, report them to the admins privately. Do not engage in public arguments or disputes.
8. Limit Political Endorsements & Petitions
While neighborhood advocacy is allowed, political endorsements or sharing petitions should be limited and need admin approval before posting.
9. No Personal Information Sharing
Protect your privacy and that of others by not posting phone numbers, addresses, or other personal information without consent.
10. Limited Pet-Related Posts
Use designated threads for lost and found pets only. No pet sales of any given kind or pet related veterinary advice.
11. Buy, Sell, Trade Rules
If allowed, buying, selling, or trading items should be conducted in a respectful manner. Clearly list prices and terms, and follow community rules regarding transactions.
12. Admin Decisions are Final
Admins have the right to remove posts and members who do not follow the rules. Repeated violations will result in a ban from the group.
13. Use Search Before Posting
Check if your question or topic has already been discussed before posting, to avoid duplicates.
14. Event Promotions
Local event promotions are allowed but must be relevant to the community of Schertz or Cibolo. No external commercial event promotions without admin approval.
15. Follow Facebook's Community Standards
All members must comply with Facebook’s general community standards. Content violating Facebook’s policies will be removed. ALL posts will be vetted and must be approved by an administrator. Approval may take up to 3 days.

🔔🚨 TRAINING EXERCISE at JBSA-RND🚨🔔
We will be holding a training exercise on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at JBSA-Randolph.

Residents on and near the installation may see smoke and hear emergency response sirens. This will be a controlled training exercise.

**IMPORTANT TxDOT/NEX WEEKEND CONSTRUCTION CLOSURE NOTICE**
As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program, TxDOT will close all the northbound and southbound Loop 1604 mainlanes from at I-35 steel beam installation from 8 p.m. Friday, February 20 until 7 a.m. Saturday, February 21, weather permitting.

DETOUR INFORMATION
Northbound Loop 1604 Detour
All traffic on northbound Loop 1604 will travel on the frontage roads, turn around at Olympia Parkway and continue on the frontage road to enter the mainlanes before Lookout Rd.

Southbound Loop 1604 Detour
All traffic on southbound Loop 1604 will travel on the frontage roads, turn around at Shin Oak Dr., continue on the frontage road and enter the mainlanes after Pat Booker Rd.

Date: Tuesday, February 17 to Wednesday, February 18�Time: 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Details: All lanes of the northbound I-35 Frontage Road from Forum Parkway to Evans Road (FM 1518) will be closed. Local access will be provided to area businesses with a police es**rt in place.
Details: The off-ramp from northbound I-35 to Olympia Parkway (Exit 173) will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to the next exit at Schertz Parkway.
Details: The off-ramp from I-35 to FM 1518 (Exit 174A) will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to the next exit at Schertz Parkway.

🌳🚫 Friendly reminder from the city (before code enforcement reminds you 😅)

In Schertz:
• Tree limbs must be 8 ft above sidewalks and 15 ft above streets
• Grass, weeds & vegetation can’t be taller than 8 inches

Keeping it trimmed = safer sidewalks, clearer streets, and zero surprise notices.

IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURES

As part of the I-35 NEX Central Program, ANC will be closing the northbound and southbound I-35 mainlanes at Schertz Pkwy from 7 p.m. Friday, February 13th to 7 a.m. Saturday, February 14th for concrete deck work. Traffic will be detoured along the frontage roads and back to the mainlanes.

ALSO:
ANC will be conducting milling and asphalt operations starting this weekend on the southbound I-35 frontage road from FM 3009 to Corporate Dr.

From Sunday, February 15th to Wednesday, February 18th from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly the following closures will be in place:

• Operation 1: All lanes of the southbound I-35 frontage road from Schertz Pkwy. to Corporate Dr. will be closed.
o The Schertz Pkwy. bridge will remain open during this time.

• Operation 2: All lanes of the southbound I-35 frontage road from FM 3009 (Roy Richard Dr.) Schertz Pkwy. will be closed.
o The Schertz Pkwy. bridge will remain open during this time.
