It's the final Music & Movies in the Park of 2026, featuring Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and it's free and open to everyone. Grab your lawn chairs, pack some snacks, and bring your fellow movie lovers out for a cool fall evening with your Schertz neighbors.

The event begins at 7pm, and the movie starts at dusk.

National Night Out is this Tuesday, neighbors! 🌟

Date: Tuesday, October 6th, from 6 to 8pm
Location: The Crossvine Amenity Center

For The Crossvine residents, it's a chance to meet neighbors, say hello to Schertz Fire & Police and city officials, and shop local from small businesses, including resident booths featuring makers from our community.

Food trucks, a caricature artist, face painting, balloon art, a DJ, and more. Bring the whole crew!

Keep an eye on the Butterfly Garden this month. 🦋

Every fall, monarchs funnel south through Central Texas on their way to Mexico, and our stretch of the state sits right in their path. The heaviest traffic through the San Antonio area usually lands in early-to-mid October, which means the first scouts start showing up right about now.

Our Butterfly Garden was planted for exactly this: nectar when they need it, a place to rest, and a reason to slow down and look.

Schertz Hometown Harvest returns to Pickrell Park this Saturday, September 5, from 9 am to 5 pm, and every first Saturday of the month. Local growers, handmade goods, and food from area vendors, all gathered under the Large Pavilion at Pickrell Park.
