While finishing up showing a beautiful house for sale for my colleague Elena Perez at an open house event in my neighborhood I glanced at today's Star Ledger obituary and was shocked to find that one of my top athlete's from our first girls state championship track team had died in a horrific car accident. Tina Rouse was her name and she was a city, county and state champion for our team at Arts H.S. She lead our team to 6 state, 6 Essex County and 5 colonial Hills conference championships. She was only 41 years old. Please pray for her family particularly her only child Tiniqua. I will look to honor Tina's achievements and her legacy at her funeral tomorrow. Rest in peace dear angel.
