This was an incredibly rewarding experience from start to finish! I represented the seller, and our main challenge was selling during the slower holiday season, from Christmas to New Year's, in a competitive market.

We took a strategic approach by quickly staging the property, making minor repairs, painting, cleaning, photographing, marketing, and having the home inspected. To maximize exposure, we held open houses over two weekends, including a catered brunch for the realtor tour. Despite dealing with power outages, we were able to secure an excellent offer from wonderful buyers—who are veterans, no less—and financed with a VA loan. Their realtor and loan officer were incredibly cooperative, helping us navigate the details of the transaction. We skillfully worked within the VA loan guidelines to address any restrictions. After 13 days on the market, escrow closed in just 22 days, and I’m thrilled for my seller, who is moving forward without delay. Plus, the final accepted price was over asking and what she was hoping for!
