Before → Concept

This project is still in progress, but the transformation starts long before anything is installed.

The home already had beautiful architectural elements—wood beams, built-ins, and a strong Southwest foundation—but the finishes felt heavy and disconnected. There wasn’t a clear material story tying everything together.

Our approach here wasn’t to start over. It was to simplify, soften, and create cohesion by working with what exists.

We’re layering in a softer desert organic palette, refining the flooring and tile selections, and bringing in quieter, more intentional materials that allow the architecture to breathe.

In the kitchen, that meant keeping the existing cabinetry and elevating everything around it. In the living space, it’s about lightening the overall feel while still honoring the warmth of the home.

This is the kind of design work I care most about—thoughtful, strategic updates that completely change how a home feels without unnecessary renovation.

Excited to bring this one to life.

Marketing session with my fantastic strategist! I was hesitant to spend money on marketing because I am not a traditional marketing salesy type of business owner.
