I feel very honored to be both nominated and voted for by peers and readers for the Charitable Services Award in Phoenix Agent Magazine. If you know me well you would most likely know that this runs deep and fuels my soul. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty that has a very robust philanthropic organization, The Russ Lyon Foundation here in Arizona as well as the border of Mexico.

I truly appreciate this honor and this award is not just a recognition of my efforts, but a celebration of the collective impact we can achieve when we come together for a common cause. I hope that this acknowledgment inspires others to get involved, lend a hand, and contribute to the betterment of our community and society. This world can certainly use more kindness and compassion.

First of all, it is an honor and privilege to be a part of the Russ Lyon Foundation supporting so many amazing local causes here in Arizona! Then to get recognition for working to drive more volunteers, donations, awareness makes it even more rewarding, but that isn’t why I do it. It fills my cup to help others.

I met Dan a couple years ago when he was thinking of joining Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty in Chicagoland. He was spending a lot of time here in Arizona so he came by the Russ Lyon Sotheby’s office to speak to me about how I loved Sotheby’s. Fast forward to a couple of years later and we worked on our first referral deal for Chicago to Phoenix; more specifically Gilbert. His long time clients had to make a career move that was taking their family to Arizona. I was excited to help more people from Chicago transition to Arizona as they bought a new construction home that suits their growing family, baby number 2 joined them this spring! Late last year one of my best friends called to let me know that she was once again promoted and needed to relocate to another part of the country. I got ahead of it to make sure that part of the transition was smooth by connecting with a fellow Sotheby’s International Realty advisor. Jessica Grier of Premier Sotheby’s immediately jumped in to help her transition. First by educating Michelle, Jim and myself on her market in Charlotte. She then placed Michelle in a temporary Airbnb while they searched for the perfect home; ultimately a gorgeous home in the Elizabeth neighborhood of Charlotte, NC.

Congratulations to Michelle and Jim, not only on their new home that they moved into in March, but they were also recently married here in Paradise Valley in April at the stunning Hermosa Inn. I am looking forward to seeing Michelle, Jim, (Leo) and Jessica later this year when I get out there for a visit!

Sometimes it takes a village across 3 states to get it done.

Lisa worked out of Chicago while I was on the ground back here in Arizona. Our clients live out of state and we were all able to team up to get this home sold! Not only that, but the home was sold prior to hitting the market to the client of another Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty team.
