As time closed in on us, I asked Matt if there was ANYTHING I could do for him. His response was, “Move forward faster. You’ve got this.” At the end of his life, he encouraged me knowing I would be forced to go on without him.

It was an incredible honor to be married to a truly kind and gentle man. I am forever grateful for the connection we shared and the beautiful life believing in one another provided.

Happy 11th Anniversary Matt. I will continue to carry you in my heart with deep respect, gratitude, and affection.

Today we enjoyed visiting the place we said our vows so filled with hope eleven years ago. Even if I’d known the outcome, I’m certain I’d choose us again.
