Some of the best real estate experiences aren’t about finding the house someone thinks they want they’re about listening closely enough to help them discover the one that’s actually right for them.

I recently had the pleasure of helping a wonderful couple relocate from California to Arizona. Originally from the East Coast, they came to me with a list of homes they wanted to see and a pretty good idea of what they were looking for.

After spending the first day together, touring homes and, more importantly, talking about their lifestyle, priorities and what they wanted in a community, I suggested a couple of additional options that I felt might be a better fit.

One of those homes turned out to be the one.

A beautifully renovated home in an incredible community—and they couldn’t be happier with their decision!
