Grand Canyon- Rim to Rim 5/29/2025

Well we made it 23.8 miles in 12.5 hours across the Grand Canyon. We started at the South Rim and finished at the North Rim taking the SK trail and NK trail. What an amazing life changing experience. I will never look at the Grand Canyon the same way. 🔥

Thank you to Mike, Candace and Steve for inviting me on such a great adventure. You guys were awesome. I am now inspired to visit some other national parks here in AZ and UT. 💪

It was so much fun helping these buyers build their first home in Goodyear, AZ. 5 years ago I was in school working towards getting my Real Estate license. This was pre-Covid so we actually sat in a classroom. 😂

I remember the instructor telling us to look around the room and then said that out of everyone in the room that only 15% would renew their license in 2 years and that the other 85% would not make it. I remember wondering which side of the fence I would end up on.

Well after lots of ups and downs with the market and having to dig deep to overcome the adversity in this business, I remained positive and pushed through the obsticals and can say that I made it! Not only have I renewed my license twice, but I even got my Broker’s license as well. 💪

There are times where I feel like I’m in perfect alignment with serving my purpose and helping Kate and Robert buy their first home was definitely one of those moments. I had connected with Kate and she was already pre-approved with a large bank but the amount she was approved for was lower than current average single family home prices, so we connected her with one of our creative lending partners and talked a lot about interest rate buy down options. Kate and Robert still had some time before their lease was up before we started putting the wheels in motion. Then I met Bill, an older gentleman who was selling his home to move to Kentucky for health reasons and to be closer to family. At the listing appointment, I let Bill know that I knew of a family looking for a home just like the one he was selling. After some negotiations, we were able to help two families accomplish their Real Estate goals and start the next chapters of their lives and we are so grateful for that!
