Last weekend on the greenbelt with neighbors, kids, live music, a food truck, and the kind of afternoon that reminds you why McCormick Ranch is so special.

We workshopped this question at a retreat I hosted a few weeks ago, and it was by far my favorite session of the weekend.

You see, some of the answers were as simple as “earlier today on our walk” but many were stories. Stories of the people we love, the struggles we’ve endured, the twists and turns in life that brought us that very special moment.

What stood out the most, was how a grounding in gratitude that question is. How presence in life’s sweet moments is more powerful than any struggles before and after. How reviewing your day to day life in this way gives perspective on what it is that truly brings you joy.

I mean they tried. But you really don’t understand it until you’re standing in your backyard watching the sky do that.

Arizona living has a lot of perks. This one is definitely one of my favorites.

Unpopular opinion: fall is actually the best time to buy a home. 🍂

Everyone waits for spring. The flowers bloom, the listings flood the market, and suddenly you’re competing with twelve other offers on the same house.

Fall is different.

The buyers who burned out over summer have stepped back. The inventory that’s still available has sellers who are motivated and ready to move. And you get to tour homes without sweating through your shirt. 😂
