Every time I share Kansas content, I get the same question:
“Wait... are you moving to Kansas?”
The answer is no. 😅

But we did buy a house there—and the reason has very little to do with real estate.
My husband grew up in Kansas, his brother and family live there. During a visit, we found ourselves talking about how special it was watching the kids together and how we wanted more of it.

More summer days. More holidays. More ordinary moments that become core memories.
God heard these thoughts and prayers.

At the same time, the house directly behind our family had been sitting vacant after a major electrical fire. One conversation led to another, and before long we found ourselves buying a completely gutted, fire-damaged home. Because apparently we still can’t resist a project. 😂

Over the last nine months we’ve poured a lot of love (and patience) into bringing it back to life..
The goal was creating a place where our family could spend more time together.
And that feels worth every bit of the chaos. Investing in real estate is powerful tool, and this is investing in our legacy. What could be more powerful than that?

☕️ People who don’t drink coffee
I genuinely don’t understand how you’re functioning… but I respect you.

🏨 3-star hotels
There’s just something about them that feels… unsettling.

📣 Spirit Week… in MAY
Nothing like scrambling for “career day” at 9pm the night before 😅

🚫 “Bedrooms” without closets
Spoiler alert… It’s not a bedroom.

🚽 Listings with cellphone photos + the toilet seat up
This one hurts my soul a little. Presentation matters more than people think.

Come with us to one of my go-to spots in McCormick Ranch ☕️

Press is one of those places that just works for everything — a work meeting, post-workout catch up, a quick stop before a greenbelt walk… or honestly, just an excuse for their honey cinnamon shaker (trust me on that one).

Between the lake views at Marguerite, the spacious patio, and a menu that never misses, it’s an easy yes every time.

Everyone’s sharing the “hills I’d die on…”

But over the years, I’ve learned the opposite is just as important — the hills I won’t.

1 Unrealistic pricing
I’m not in the business of “buying” listings by agreeing to a number that doesn’t make sense. Strategy over ego, always.
2 Being for everyone
I made peace with this a long time ago — my people will find me. And the right clients make this job really, really good.
3 Dressing like I’m on Selling Sunset
I need pockets. And shoes that can handle a lockbox in a bed of thorns & rocks 😅
4 Being always available
If I don’t treat my time as valuable, no one else will. Boundaries are what allow me to show up fully for my clients and my family.

The longer I do this, the more I realize —
clarity in what you won’t do is what makes you great at what you will.

If you asked me to plan the perfect weekend in McCormick Ranch… it would probably look something like this 🤍

Start Friday night with dinner + drinks at Amelia’s by Eat — one of those places that just does everything well.

Saturday morning, a workout at , then slow it down with a family bike ride along the greenbelt. A stop at Press Coffee & Lake Marguerite to feed the ducks (a must), followed by lunch at Collins Brothers… and obviously, ice cream at Sweet Provisions because we can’t not when we’re there.

Sunday is for the simple things, a morning at Mountain View Park, letting the kids play, a walk as a family, and soaking in the kind of neighborhood that just makes life feel easy.

This is what I love most about McCormick Ranch — it’s not just the homes, it’s the lifestyle & community that comes with it. I’d love to help you build your dream life here. 💗
