A customer disputes a charge and there's nothing to point to. A tech gets sent back to a job that should've been done in one visit. Neither one is bad luck, it's just what happens when documentation gets skipped for the next stop on the schedule.

The fix isn't asking techs to be more disciplined about paperwork. It's building close-out into the job itself: a before-and-after photo attached to the work order, a one-line note on what was done, a confirmation the customer actually sees before the truck pulls away.

None of it is complicated. It just needs a place to live in the workflow instead of competing with it.

A couple weeks ago, we sat down with one of our newest procurement partners, Heritage Pool Supply Group, to kick off what we expect will be a great partnership.

Our team met the Heritage team at one of their local distribution centers in Phoenix, along with several of our Phoenix pool vendors. The Heritage team walked us through the DC, the products they carry at that location, and where their other PHX locations are and what they offer.

Most valuable of all was the chance for our pool vendors to get face time with the Heritage sales reps directly, the kind of connection that makes day to day work easier down the line.
