Who says you have to stay in Scottsdale every day of your vacation? 🚤🐶

One of our favorite day trips is Lake Pleasant, just about 45 minutes from Turquoise House Scottsdale. Rent a boat, pack a cooler, find a quiet cove, and spend the day making memories with the family.

Our beagle Winston clearly took his job as "official raft supervisor" very seriously. 😂 Every time our daughter got pulled behind the boat, he had plenty to say!

If you're looking for a great rental company, we had an awesome experience with SeasTheDay | Lake Pleasant Boat Rentals Boat Rentals. Friendly, easy to work with, and they made our day on the lake absolutely perfect.

After a fun day on the water, it's nice to come back to your own private pool, fire up the grill, and relax for the evening.

If you're planning a Scottsdale getaway, don't overlook Lake Pleasant—it just might become the highlight of your trip.

We just removed all of the carpet and replaced it with beautiful tile throughout the home — cleaner, cooler, brighter, and much easier to enjoy after a day by the pool.

It gives the house a fresh, modern feel while making it even better for families, longer stays, and guests who love a low-maintenance vacation home.
