I love living in Chandler, AZ. I'm really happy I bought a home years ago. The sprawling east valley city is now more expensive than Scottsdale for renters. Arizona has one tightest rental markets in the nation due to the shortage of available homes for rent and for sale.

The cost of housing here in The Valley is very different from when I moved here 19 years ago! Rents and home prices have risen dramatically. That said, there's lots to love about The Valley.

Scottsdale rounded out the top 10 for highest one bedroom median prices for February 2022.
