Cottonwood, AZ is a quaint little town and seems to be growing having new apartments will bring some affordable housing options.

"Spring cited housing studies and local industry reports noting a shortage of housing units and housing types in Cottonwood, along with an ever-expanding need as employment and in-migration grows.

The unit mix calls for 108 one-bedroom, 117 two-bedroom and 27 three-bedroom apartments. Rents are expected to start at $1,100."

"Buckeye is quickly becoming one of Arizona’s most closely watched data center markets, with multiple large-scale projects positioning the West Valley city as a future hub for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure.

The largest known project is Tract’s Buckeye Technology Park, a master-planned data center campus on the west side of Buckeye near the Palo Verde nuclear power plant and the I-10 corridor. Tract acquired approximately 2,069 acres in 2024 for what the company said could become one of the largest data center parks in the United States. At full buildout, the project could include up to 20 million square feet of data center space across as many as 40 individual data centers. Tract said it is working with the local utility on long-term power infrastructure plans that could support up to 1.8 gigawatts."

"Sales of newly built single-family homes fell 6.2% in April to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 622,000, according to data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Census Bureau. The pace of new home sales is down 11.3% from a year earlier."

Deed fraud is still happening out there! Land and homeowners be vigilant and sign up for deed transfer alerts. Most counties are now offering an alert system if your property has a deed recorded to transfer ownership.

I've personally signed up our properties and have received the alert. It sends the alert upon the transfer (after it happened) so if you didn't intend on selling your property must get right on it.

“With a forged signature and fraudulently recording property documents, criminals can unlawfully transfer ownership or attempt to leverage property that doesn’t belong to them, oftentimes before the true owner even realizes that their property has been sold, leaving them with costly legal battles to reclaim what they already own,” Maricopa County Assessor Eddie Cook wrote in an April 20 press release. “It’s a crime that can target anyone — first-time homebuyers, seniors, and families.”
