"2027 Outlook
Overall, housing remains caught between limited supply and binding affordability constraints. Demand exists but is increasingly sidelined due to higher costs and interest rates. The recent surge for long-term interest rates adds a warning signal for 2027 and the overall economy, as 2026 growth has been heavily dependent on one sector (AI), which is crowding out lending for the rest of the economy, including housing."

"CASA GRANDE — A proposed 954-acre data center campus with its own power generation and battery storage facilities will be among several major development projects to go before the Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission Thursday evening.

The commission will hold a public hearing on a conditional use permit requested by Phoenix-based Colliers Engineering for the proposed Grande Valley Industrial Data Center Campus south of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, west of Montgomery Road and east of the Midway Road alignment.

The property is zoned I-2 General Industrial and is currently vacant with some portions used for agriculture."

"FLORENCE — Just over 4,695 acres of state land 10 miles northeast of Florence was approved for industrial uses by unanimous votes of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors Wednesday.

“This rezoning will really allow Pinal County to have this as an employment hub area, with the great transportation, the great location,” attorney Jordan Rose, representing the State Land Department, told the board.

“... There are jobs-producing employers who are looking around our country for great locations, and we think this will hopefully be a fantastic location in Pinal County to attract some very desirable employers.”

444 Lots sold for $60.15 Million! That's a lot of new houses coming in the future TSMC area.

"AGWIP Asset Management, land banker for Miami-based Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN), plopped down $60.14 million in cash for the land spanning 132.24 acres near 117th Avenue and the Deer Valley Road alignment on Maricopa County land, according to Tempe-based real estate database Vizzda LLC.

Closing on Sept. 15, the seller in the transaction is Phoenix-based Aroundtown Agua Fria LLC, which plans to bring an additional 2,000 lots in that surrounding area to market within the next three years."

One of the nation’s largest homebuilders has secured 444 lots near the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s $265 billion development in north Phoenix.
