Id like to share some data per our weekly meeting yesterday…

The 1st chart shows the price per square foot has increased by 8.2% since this time last year in Maricopa County..

The 2nd chart shows house prices during and after the last 8 recessions (50 year timeframe).. Prices only dropped once in 2008.. just once!! In 8 recessions!!However, house prices recovered within 8 years..

I continually have conversations with potential buyers waiting for a recession.. hoping house prices to drop. Or waiting for interest rates to go down.

This data shows prices don’t drop in a recession.. they consistently increase with time. Now, If interest rates fall (which is a good thing) the market will see a huge influx of potential buyers.. As our market witnessed the last 6 years. This will, most likely, cause house values to rise at an even faster rate!

I share this for those thinking of homeownership, there is no better time then today!!
