Gas ... these are averages..spikes made it more expensive based on seasons.

Jan 20...2.27

Jan 21...2.60

Jan 22...3.40

Jan 23...3.25

Current 24...3.70

A 62% increase since 2020!

When considering your choices in November...consider this...inflation has caused everything from groceries, gas, energy, housing, entertainment etc. to go up. In January of 2020 the inflation rate was 1.23% higher than 2019...

Jan 21 + 4.7 over Jan 20
Jan 22 + 8.0 over Jan 21
Jan 23 + 4.1 over Jan 22
Jan 24 + 3.4 over Jan 23

In 4 years the rate is more than 20% higher under this administration. To be fair. YTD IS CURRENTLY 2.9 year over year. Still double the rate in Jan 2020. Check your pockets....vote accordingly.

Quick little project for the laundry/ entry room.

I was commissioned to make a presentation box to display replica dueling pistols given as a wedding gift. We decided to make it able to sit on a table or hang on a wall using a French cleat. Since they are antique style, I thought using reclaimed wood might be a cool idea. Reclaimed Redwood and reclaimed Hickory flooring. Took several hours removing nails,staples and working around imperfections...one of the fun ones though.
