Nothing can prepare you for hearing the words, “You have breast cancer.”

In Part 4 of my journey, I share the day a biopsy turned into a Stage 2B breast cancer diagnosis. The emotions, the fear, and those first phone calls to the people I love most.

I didn't have all the answers. I just knew I needed a moment to process what I'd been told.

🎀 A Different Kind of Rodeo | Part 2

2014 was a tough year for my family. And in 2015, I discovered a lump in my breast.

But life was busy. Work was busy. And like so many of us do, I kept putting myself at the bottom of the list.

I didn't have a strong family history of cancer, so I wasn't overly concerned. Looking back, I know I waited longer than I should have.

In this part of my story, I'm sharing how it all began and why I finally went to get checked.

If there's one thing I hope you'll take away from this part of my journey, it's this: Don't get so busy taking care of everything else that you forget to take care of yourself.💗

Well, that didn't take long! More BIG news for homebuyers!

I just shared a video talking about VantageScore 4.0 and how it could open new doors for conventional homebuyers.

And wouldn't you know it… FHA just entered the conversation, too! 🎉

FHA has announced that it will begin accepting VantageScore 4.0, FICO 10T, or traditional FICO scores for FHA case numbers assigned on or after January 1, 2027.

Why is this exciting?

Because a different way of evaluating credit could mean more opportunities for buyers who have limited credit history or have been working hard to improve their credit.

Now, this doesn't mean everyone will automatically qualify, and lenders will still have their own requirements.

But here's what I always say: Don't assume you can't buy a home just because of your credit score!

The mortgage world is changing, and I'm here to help you understand what those changes could mean for YOU.

Episode 1

Some stories are easier to tell than others. This one is pretty personal.

A few weeks ago, I was sitting outside enjoying a beautiful Arizona evening, reflecting on October and what Breast Cancer Awareness Month means to me.

Apparently, I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't realize how dark it was getting!
So forgive the lighting!

I recorded this in September and wasn't quite sure if I was ready to share it. But here we are.

Over the next couple of video's, I'm going to do my best to share my breast cancer journey with you. The good, the bad, and everything in between.

So here goes nothing. 💗 I hope this helps someone.
