There's something special about a team that shows up...not because they have to, but because they want to! 💙

This July, our people gave their time across the community: partnering with Cloth + Foster to support kids in foster care, standing alongside women and families at Hope Women's Center - Arizona, and joining Share of Vancouver WA for the Summer Meals Program. We also hosted Back to School drives across the Northwest and Southwest, so students can walk in ready for a great year. ✏️

We're endlessly grateful for our community, and for every volunteer who helped make a difference!

Happy Parent's Day to the incredible moms and dads across the IDM family! ❤️ Being a parent is one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs there is, and so many of our team members do it beautifully while also showing up every day for our residents and communities.

What a day to be on the green! 🏌️ Our team had a blast sponsoring the Greater Vancouver Chamber Golf Open last week at Camas Meadows. Between the breakfast spread from Chick-fil-A Cascade Park, the Vip Photo Booth (props and all 📸), and welcoming the golfers in the early hours of the day, it was the perfect mix of work and play. Thank you to the Greater Vancouver Chamber for putting on such a great event, and to everyone who stopped by to say hi!

What a day at Meritum Sonoran Desert! 🌵 Our clubhouse was packed as we celebrated the grand opening of our newest community in Phoenix. A huge thank you to the Greater Phoenix Chamber for hosting our ribbon-cutting ceremony, and to everyone who came out to celebrate with us: IDM team members, residents, vendors, and chamber members. Between the live music, the incredible food and drinks, and a snow cone truck parked out front, the energy was unmatched!

A special thank you to our Community Manager, Patrick, who said it best, "a project like this takes every department working together: construction, residential, and the entire IDM family." After a champagne toast, the ribbon was officially cut. 🥂

Behind every award is a team of people who show up for each other. 💙 We're so proud to share that our SW office has been named an Arizona Top Workplace by AZ Central, and for the second time! 🎉

Here's what makes it special: the award is based entirely on feedback from our employees. Only 165 companies earned a spot this year, and ours came straight from the people who make this culture what it is.

This week, our team rolled up our sleeves and headed out to Heritage Farm! 🌱

We planted seeds for the summer crop, cleared out weeds, and soaked up a little well-earned sunshine along the way. We had a great turn out for our volunteer group and a great reminder of why this event keeps growing year over year.

Heritage Farm is a true local gem, and the produce grown here goes directly to the Clark County Food Bank, helping feed families right here in our community. Getting to play even a small part in that mission is something we're proud to do together. A big thank you to all who volunteered and got their hands dirty!

What do you get when two legends hit 15 years in the same week? 🎉 Two cakes, two plaques, and a whole lot of well-deserved celebrating.

Last week, we had the honor of throwing back-to-back parties for Kevin and Eugene, both hired within the same week of each other 15 years ago, and two of the most dedicated people on our team! 🙌

Over the years, these two have done more than show up. They've helped shape our culture, built lasting friendships across every corner of the IDM family, and set a standard of devotion that inspires everyone around them. From jobsites to office hallways, their impact is woven into everything we do. 🧡

Each received a crystal plaque honoring their 15 years of dedication and contribution to IDM, a small token that doesn't begin to capture how much they mean to this team.

Thank you, Kevin and Eugene. We are so lucky to have you both!

This month, we celebrated the grand opening of the new Honor Guard facility at Luke Air Force Base and what a moment it was! Standing room only, 10+ attendees, and so much heart in one room.

This project started with a simple observation from our Founder, Jeff Gordon, who noticed Honor Guard members training outside in the Arizona summer heat, operating out of a building with no air conditioning. From that moment on, IDM was committed to building them something better.

Years later, we got to watch Jeff cut the ribbon on a beautiful 8,000 SF facility built just for them! Complete with offices, locker rooms, a kitchen, lounge, and a full training space. None of it would have been possible without the incredible partnership of Colliers Engineering & Design, Deutsch Architecture Group, Fighter Country Foundation, and our amazing subcontractors who generously donated their time, materials, and expertise!

And a very special shoutout to our very own Josh Krenkel, who was honored with a coin from Fighter Country Foundation President, Ron Sites, for his dedication to this project. Josh made Luke AFB his second home over the past year, showing up every day (and most weekends) to bring this vision to life. We are SO proud of him! 👏❤️

To everyone who played a part in making this happen, and to the Honor Guard for their service to our county, thank you!

What a day on the green! ⛳ Our team had the best time joining the Military Assistance Mission for the 12th Annual MAM Golf Classic. It was a day full of sunshine, friendly competition, and giving back to Arizona's military families and wounded heroes. We're so proud to support such a meaningful cause alongside an incredible community of people.
And we'd be remiss not to brag on our team a little… 😉
