Ready to head out of town as Phoenix heats up? Here are some Lock-n-Leave tips:
✅ Setup and activate your security camera system so you can monitor it from your phone.
✅ Remember that your landscaping needs water so set up some sort of irrigation plan so you don't come home to dead plants.
✅ If you have irrigation systems, you can't shut off your water at the main. Shut it off at the laundry, kitchen, bathrooms and other areas.
✅ Get your AC maintained before you leave and set the thermostat so nothing inside the house gets overheated.
✅ Lock down your Wi-Fi network (or just unplug your router).
✅ Set up adequate lighting.
✅ Forward your mail.
✅ Make sure your garage is locked securely.
There are a lot more tips but these are just a few reminders before you head out to get out of the heat.
