While most people are enjoying a well-earned day off, we know what actually happens in real estate on a holiday weekend.

It’s not burgers and lawn chairs — it’s:

• Open house prep (with last-minute sign wrangling)
• Running comps between check-ins
• Fielding financing questions from buyers finally “ready to talk”
• And following up with lenders we hope answer the phone before Tuesday
