Six years ago I wrote this, and I believe it still rings true today. 🙏
“Gratitude can transform common days into Thanksgiving, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” — William Arthur Ward
During difficult times, some people become consumed with fear, negativity, and scarcity. Others choose gratitude. That choice matters.
The more we focus on what’s missing, the more empty life can feel. But when we focus on blessings, faith, family, health, opportunity, and purpose, our perspective begins to change.
Positive psychology researcher Shawn Achor once said:“The power of gratitude is not only one of the fastest ways to raise happiness, it literally transforms your health.”
Research backs it up. Studies have shown that people who intentionally practice gratitude often sleep better, exercise more, and experience greater overall well-being.
Gratitude is not denial. It’s discipline. It’s training your mind to recognize what is still good, even during hard seasons. ✨
A few simple ways to practice it:
• Focus intentionally on the positive, not just the problems.
• Gratitude spreads. Your attitude impacts the people around you.
• A simple text, call, or email can change someone’s entire day.
Every day try using this:“Today I will think good thoughts, do good things, and look for the best in every situation.” 💛
That’s wisdom worth holding onto.
