Not every real estate transaction involves people who agree with each other.

Sometimes they disagree about price, repairs or how the property should be handled. Sometimes they simply don’t want to communicate with one another.

That doesn’t mean the transaction can’t move forward.

**Progress does not require agreement. It requires a process.**

In divorce, probate, inherited property and other complex sales, my role is to keep the real estate moving forward — with clear communication, documented decisions and a focus on what needs to happen next.

My 20+ years working in the legal field taught me how to stay calm and organized when circumstances are anything but.

The people involved may have much bigger things on their minds.

The property still needs a plan.

And sometimes, having one person focused on that plan makes all the difference.

🏡 Thinking about buying a condo?

A condominium can be a wonderful lifestyle choice—but you're buying more than just the unit itself.

You're also becoming part of a homeowners association (HOA), and understanding its financial health is an important part of making a smart purchase.

In my newest article, I share why buyers should look beyond monthly HOA dues and review items like reserve funding, meeting minutes, and potential special assessments before closing.

Knowledge is one of the best investments you can make.

Not every home sale is a happy occasion.

Sometimes it's because of a divorce.
Sometimes it's after the loss of a loved one.
Sometimes it's a family trying to navigate a trust or probate process.

These transactions come with unique challenges that go far beyond putting a home on the market.

I recently wrote an article about why choosing the right REALTOR® can make all the difference during life's biggest transitions. My hope is that it provides helpful information for anyone facing one of these situations—or for someone who knows a friend or family member who is.

If you know someone who could benefit from this information, feel free to share it.

For many Arizona families, the home is the largest asset involved in a divorce.

What many people don't realize is that decisions about the home can have long-term financial consequences—well beyond the divorce itself.

Questions about timing, equity, occupancy, repairs, pricing, and sale strategy can all have a significant impact on the outcome.

I recently shared some thoughts on why real estate strategy plays such an important role during the divorce process and how thoughtful planning can help reduce conflict and preserve equity.

🏡 SOLD | 1110 E March Street 🏡

Every home has a story, and this one was no exception.

After navigating inspections, negotiations, disclosures, appraisal, and financing, we successfully made it to the closing table and recorded yesterday.

Real estate isn't always about finding a perfect house—sometimes it's about helping buyers and sellers work through challenges, find common ground, and keep moving toward the finish line.

Congratulations to my sellers on a successful closing, and best wishes to the buyers as they begin their next chapter in this home.

Thinking about buying or selling in Arizona? I'd be happy to help.

Many longtime homeowners in Phoenix and Scottsdale are preparing to sell homes they’ve owned for decades — often during major life or family transitions.

These situations are rarely just about putting a property on the market. There are usually emotional considerations, questions about repairs or updates, and uncertainty around where to even begin.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that every older home needs a major renovation before it can sell successfully. In many cases, thoughtful preparation and the right strategy matter far more than over-improving.

I recently shared a short piece about some of the considerations families and homeowners should think through when preparing a long-held property for sale.

If you or someone you know is navigating this type of transition, I’m always happy to help point people in the right direction.

We’re continuing to see a steady flow of buyers relocating to Phoenix and Scottsdale.

A lot of these moves involve more than just finding the right home — they’re tied to bigger lifestyle decisions. People are balancing timing, coordinating a sale in another state, and trying to make confident choices in a market that may be unfamiliar.

It’s not always a simple process, but having the right structure and guidance in place early can make a big difference.

I recently shared a short piece about some of the considerations that tend to come up when people are making a move to Arizona.

If you or someone you know is thinking about relocating, I’m always happy to be a resource.
