After achieving a birth in the National League Division Series, the San Diego Padres are ready to get back to work and will kick off the 2025 Spring Training Season against our other host team the Seattle Mariners, on Friday, February 21!

I was recently reminded of a few things that make this such a great place to live. Here in Desert Mountain we play a lot of golf, tennis, pickleball, hiking, and general fitness activities. We are blessed with easy access to world class Healthcare including a Mayo Hospital and Mayo Clinic, Barrow Brain & Spine, and hospital systems partnering with ASU and UofA. We have an international airport. Theater is available at ASU's Gammage Theater and The Phoenix Theater, Musical performances through Arizona Musicfest and the award winning Musical Instrument Museum, also national touring shows. We have several James Beard award winning chefs & restaurants as well as great local dining. And yes, beautiful blue skies and generally wonderful weather, with our share of cold or really hot days.
