It’s a really big day for us all 🙏 has, very quickly, officially SOLD! Our sweet Covid Baby was purchased in the middle of the global pandemic, during a time of fear for us all. We had zero clue what was in store for this project, we even at one point were projecting to break even on the property. We decided to go for this home to help keep our crews busy during the pandemic, keep everyone working, their minds off it, & for us all to just focus on something else & the thought of breaking even made us feel fine knowing that our crew was still working. Fast forward a few months & AZ real estate started BOOMING like never before! People flocking here from all over the nation! Home prices are sky rocketing & our inventory cannot keep up with the demand!! We decided to “go for it” & list “high”. I had a TON of naysayers telling me we would never get what we were asking for this home. I’ve been told on a couple projects now that I’m the example of “the nicest home on the block” (which people tend to avoid buying the “nicest home on the block” which I’ve never understood) & “you over improve for the neighborhood/market.” Oh and my favorite “how do you even make your numbers work to do this as a business!?” My response is simple, I got into this buisness to produce quality, custom homes..NOT quick flips that you’ll see in the other “flip” homes in the neighborhood. Idk...maybe we’ve just gotten lucky on these homes? Or maybe we found a special niche in the market that is tired of the gray and white cheap flip homes? I honestly don’t know, but what I do know is we truly love & care about these homes & the quality we produce & maybe each home just speaks to its buyer & the buyer recognizes that. At the end of the day, I don’t care what everyone has to say, at the end of the day all I care about is my passion for creating these homes & the looks on their new owners faces when I get to hand them over the keys! And for now, that is all I continue to care about in doing this adventure. Roma ended up breaking a new, huge, price per sqft record for the neighborhood, selling $30k over asking price! Our Covid baby turned out to be our 💎
