How important is it to be at a locally owned brand? Today it's more important than ever. The real estate industry is in upheaval. National companies are now leading with self protectionism instead of a client first practice. They institute initiatives and veil them in 'client benefits' while actually reducing options for clients, limiting agent options and even waging war against entities that can help their clients (their clients just don't know it).
Many national brands are driven by the checks they just wrote in the anti-trust settlement. They're in fear mode. They're afraid of writing another check so those who don't know our business or the needs of consumers/clients are the ones playing risk management over client advantages. They're also seeking ways to reclaim the monies they just settled and that means cost containment and greater self-interest strategies. None of that serves the client.
When I chose to be an independent it wasn't just a choice to simply break away. It was a choice to NEVER be dictated to by a figure head that doesn't know our clients, our market, and what's truly best for taking care of people here, here in Arizona. Yes it's different. The laws, the rules, the landscape; they're all different!
I work directly with the buying and selling public and always will. I have to stay on top of my game and truly understand the market and what agents need to serve their clients at the highest level and NOW. I have to stay sharp to help elevate the agents and clients here at 1912 REALTY.
I don't care how many agents your company has. I don't care how much revenue you produce or how many homes you sell. Show me you know how to take great care of people. Show me you put your clients first. Show me how you truly coach and elevate the careers of the agents around you. If you can do that you'll have my respect and attention.
If you don't truly understand what it's like to be an agent, take care of clients or your actions are all self-serving to your company then I HAVE ZERO TIME for YOU!
