It’s about what you’re actually getting *for* that split.

If I were looking to join a brokerage today, here are **5 questions I’d 100% ask first** (and you should too):

1️⃣ **What kind of training + resources are offered?**
Cloud based videos? CRM? Weekly masterminds? Accountability pods? Guest speakers? Great—*but will you actually use?* Ask yourself if the brokerage supports your style of growth.

2️⃣ **Can I host open houses on other agents’ listings?**
Some agents gatekeep. (Yup, even within the same office.) If you're new or rebuilding, open houses are gold—and you want a brokerage that *shares the wealth*. If they don't have enough to share, are they collaborating with other brokerages to make it happen?

3️⃣ **Who do I call when I have questions?**
Not a “broker hotline.” with generic CYA answers but no actually direction. I mean real answers who *knows what's happening in todays market* and wants to help you win—not just recite the contract back to you.

4️⃣ **What’s the actual culture like?**
Are agents in the office? Are they cold calling, content-creating, or collab-ing? You don’t have to copy them—but you should feel aligned. Culture isn’t just a buzzword—it’s how the brokerage *feels* every day.

5️⃣ **What’s the growth plan?**
Are they being acquired? Hiring anyone with a pulse? Is their plan designed to *elevate* their agents—or just inflate headcount? Your goals deserve a brokerage that’s growing with intention.

👉 Your business is a big deal. Ask the questions that protect your energy, your income, and your career.
