I think of you SO much and miss you SO MUCH. I saved this photo on my phones wallpaper a few months ago because it makes me smile. My two favorite things in the world as a little girl. Horses and Grandpa. 🐴Today is the 27th anniversary of your passing. I can’t believe it’s been that long. I have your carved wood likeness in my yard now, I know you hated it but I love it so much, not because it’s pretty because “yikes” … but because it reminds me of sitting with you at your booth at Kelly’s Cafe & you teaching me the “proper” way to eat eggs, my special mickey mouse pancakes with whip cream you made just for me and me spilling my OJ for the umpteenth time. It reminds me of the smell of fresh hay in your barn and you sneaking me sips of your crown royal and coke… and chasing after you begging you to buy me a horse. As I got older life got so complicated…whenever I need a reminder of simpler times and of you, I find a great old school diner or I make my own over easy eggs just like you taught me. I can even sense you telling me “Let’s get on with it!” Never one to sit down and take anything. A prisoner of war, a businessman, a great cook and ornery as hell… The gift of great men on a young girls life is so powerful. I’m so thankful that God gifted me with you. 💕

November 22, 1997 we said “I do”…. WOW! I still am in awe that we are old enough to celebrate 26 years. Marriage is tough … period. We all know this. Billy and I have had our share of struggles. When we got together we brought into this marriage all kinds of our own junk and then life has thrown us more junk. We are junk collectors I guess. But thats ok. It has made us stronger and resilient. I think we can both look at each other and truly admire how far we’ve come. The real truth is there is no way we could have made it this far without God… period. It is his victory. What we did is we cooperated with him. We chose to involve him in this marriage. Now I’m not saying we have been kumbayaying (new word 🤔) it. What we did try to do was follow his will. We have forgiven, we have given each other grace, we have been patient, we have given space when space was needed. And yes the struggles still come. I guess we have more refining to do and thats ok. This life is not just about us or about our marriage it is way bigger than that and if God wants us to collect more junk for him then we will be holy junk collectors. I’m just thankful he’s bringing the truck. 💪🏼🚚

My life would not be the same without this goof ball in it! He keeps me laughing and his outgoing & adventurous spirit remind me of my own buried dreams. He never gives up and doesn’t care much what others think ✨ He loves fashion, Star Wars, traveling, history, music, his friends and always loves a good debate. He had the gumption to start a business at the age of 18. I am enormously proud of him … can you tell?Happy National Sons Day my boy !! 😘

Congratulations to future nurse Chelsea on receiving a PEO continuing education scholarship! Took us a few try's but we slayed it! Chelsea did the hard work I just did the paperwork 😊

Chelsea is everything that makes me so proud to be a woman. Not only is she a Mom to 2 precious kiddos ... she's a wife, a student, works at a local hospital and on top of all that she is due with baby 3 any day. I was so honored and inspired to get to know you and to see you achieve this scholarship. 💪🏼 👩‍⚕️ 👼
