Yesterday, we should have been celebrating my niece Evelyn’s first birthday. Instead, we’re honoring the beautiful impact she continues to make.
After losing sweet Evelyn at just days old, my sister and brother-in-law chose to turn unimaginable heartbreak into purpose. Through The Evelyn Key Foundation, they’re raising awareness for Early-Onset Neonatal Sepsis (EONS), funding research and other life-saving initiatives, and supporting families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby, making sure no one has to walk this journey alone.
No parent should ever have to endure this kind of loss, but through this foundation, more families will find hope, resources, and a community that understands. Their mission is not only to honor Evelyn’s life, but to help save others.
