Ozzy is a 4-year-old, 40-pound Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Shar-Pei mix with a tender heart, a soft soul, and just the right amount of backyard silliness.

This handsome boy may be shy at first, but don’t let his quiet introduction fool you. Give him a little time, a little patience, and maybe a doggy friend to show him the ropes, and you’ll start to see the real Ozzy bloom: affectionate, loving, calm, sweet, and secretly very snuggly.

Ozzy is a certified cuddle bug once he feels comfortable. He loves the simple joys in life: sunbathing like a tiny patio king, doing happy zoomies in the yard, and hanging out with other dogs. In fact, Ozzy would do best in a home with another friendly dog who can help him feel confident and remind him that the world is not so scary.

He is neutered, vaccinated, good with dogs, and ready for a foster or forever home where he can decompress, build trust, and become someone’s loyal little shadow.

If you know me, you know my passion for the dog rescue world! Yesterday I helped pack hundreds of boxes at Max and Neo. They send thousands of boxes of leashes, collars, toys and treats to rescues nationwide quarterly. Some days rescue work is heartbreaking, this day was filled with love and hope.
