Born in Chicago and spending much of her childhood as a resident of Paradise Valley, Christy began her real estate career in the retail leasing business in Newport Beach, California after graduating from The University of Arizona. There, she was involved in lease negotiations with numerous high-end retailers at Fashion Island in Newport Beach in addition to several other Southern California retail developments. She then began her residential real estate career in the San Francisco Bay area and simultaneously owned an interior design firm which greatly enhanced her ability to stage properties prior to putting them on the market. She was involved in the partial and/or complete re-design of numerous Northern California homes and received numerous awards for her residential sales accomplishments while working in the Hillsborough, California market. Christy returned to Arizona in 2003 and has been actively involved in marketing high end residential real estate since then. which raises funds to benefit the Steele Children’s Research Center for the advancement of children’s medical research projects. Christy and her husband, Steve Wrede, live in DC Ranch and have children attending Notre Dame Preparatory Academy and Copper Ridge Elementary.
