**Lackawanna County Market Update 🏡📍**

The Lackawanna County market is still moving — but buyers and sellers need to be realistic.

Right now, the average home value in Lackawanna County is around **$219,839**, up **4.9% over the past year**, and homes are going pending in about **20 days** according to Zillow. ([Zillow][1])

Redfin shows the median sale price at about **$250,000**, up **6.4% year-over-year**, with homes selling in around **35 days** on average. ([Redfin][2])

What does that mean?

For **sellers**: Pricing correctly still matters. Buyers are active, but overpriced homes can sit.

For **buyers**: Good homes are still moving fast, so having your pre-approval ready can make a big difference.

For **investors**: Lackawanna County is still one of those markets where numbers matter — especially with multi-units, fixer uppers, and rental potential.

Real estate is teaching me something new every day.
Being a newer Realtor, I’m realizing this business is way bigger than just opening doors and writing offers. There’s investing, rentals, land, seller financing, property management, fixers, market trends, and learning how people build passive income through real estate.

I’m still learning, but I’m really paying attention.

My goal is to grow, understand the different sides of this business, and help people see that real estate can be more than just buying a house — it can be a way to build something for the future.
