As we approach our 20th year in business, we recently celebrated a modest milestone: our 6000th inspection. Over the past 19 years, we've formed many friendships, guided numerous buyers in their home purchases, and supported a multitude of investors with their portfolios. It's always gratifying to be recommended by someone's brother, sister, parents, or a colleague, or to see a familiar face from years past, whether they're upgrading or downsizing. This inspection was also number 21 for a loyal investor and underscores the enduring relationships and quality inspections we're known for. Although this inspection took us beyond our usual coverage area, the buyer's gratitude at the end—"We're so glad you made the drive to inspect this for us. We can always count on you for an honest opinion on our purchases"—made the extra distance worthwhile. We look forward to your continued support in the years to come.

We’re happy to announce that a total of $550 will be donated to Detective Kyle Gilmartin after our January campaign. A total of 20 inspections were completed during this time and we received an additional $50 donation toward the cause.

As a proud former member of the Scranton Police Department and the father of a law enforcement officer, Viscomi Home Inspections will donate $25 for every home inspection during the month of January to Detective Kyle Gilmartin. Some of you may know that my career was cut short after an on-duty accident during a pursuit. My family knows the feeling of receiving “that call” in the middle of the night and more than 20 years later I can still recall the sound of the metal crushing and glass breaking. It’s a long recovery and I’m honored to have the opportunity to help a fellow officer.
