Happy 9th birthday! What a joy it has been to celebrate you all week long..from splashing at the water park with your friends, to family get-togethers, to our own little traditions at home. Every moment with you is a gift.

Watching you grow has been such a blessing. You bring laughter, love, and adventure wherever you go. Your heart is kind, your spirit is strong, and you shine so brightly just being yourself.

Looking back at your baby photos makes me teary, because time has flown, but it also reminds me how much you’ve always been a light in our lives. I am so proud of the girl you are becoming, and so grateful to be your mama.

I didn’t post on Mother’s Day.

Not because I’m not grateful.

But because I was in it—letting my girls surprise me with their hand-drawn cards, their excited whispers with Dad, the love I felt at church, and the hugs I soaked in from my family.

Truth is, I’ve felt a little off lately. Not “post-worthy.” Still working on loving myself in this season after baby. But the love I received on Sunday reminded me—my kids don’t care about perfect photos. They care about me being there. Present. And I was.

So here it is. My post-Mother’s Day gratitude. For the gift of being their mom. For the man who made me one. For the moments that didn’t make it to stories—but made their way into my heart.

And if you’re like me, scrolling and feeling like maybe you missed something—just know you didn’t. You were right where you needed to be. 💛

How do we have a 10 year old?! Presley turned TEN on May 4th (yep—Star Wars Day ✨, which feels fitting because she truly changed our universe). She’s the one who made us parents, and nothing has stretched us more or blessed us bigger than raising this beautiful girl 💖.

She feels big, loves big, and has the most thoughtful, sensitive soul… with just enough sass to keep things interesting 😅.

Being her mom has been the most humbling and rewarding role God could’ve given me 🙏. She’s taught me so much about grace, patience, and showing up with my whole heart.

Presley, we love you more than words can ever capture. Watching you grow these past 10 years has been the greatest joy of our lives 🥹.
