Latest news? Home sales volume is flat. What does this mean? No need to panic, prices are finally normalizing (it's not a steady line up, after all, but a series of peaks and valleys). Expect prices to stay near the same for 2019. As long as employment stays good, prices aren't likely to fall too much. But the endless increases are probably done!

We're headed into summer...folks supposedly want to sell now. The kids are nearly out of school, no major holidays to plan around. Inventory always goes up now and sellers come out of the woodwork. Are you planning to buy or sell?

Lots of talk about rent control lately. Long Beach and other cities trying to put ordinances in front of voters, and even some recent support in the OC according to an OC Register article. Does rent control keep housing affordable, or just discourage long term growth by devaluing rental property?

Wow! Only 17 homes for sale right now in all of Seal Beach (not counting Leisure World)! When I first stated there were typically twice that many. Low inventory continues to drive prices higher, but apparently not high enough that more people are willing to sell. What do you guys think? Why aren't people selling?

Thanks for the recent likes! Been away a bit with family and a slow market, but it's time to post something again! Just closed a sale recently in Garden Grove and folks are finally asking about listing. With inventory so low, it's getting the attention of would-be sellers. OC prices are up about 17% from last year!

Real estate is heating up! Inventory in OC is at less than 2 months to clear all current property for sale at the current buying pace. Normal is 3-6 months. We can't find enough homes to sell! But the economy still isn't there to tolerate significant price increases. Is this a false start, or is there something else going on? What do you think?

Entering escrow on a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in Huntington Beach. Great property at a great price, with beautifully landscaped yard, nearly 7000 sq foot lot, incredible rock work around the front and sides! Just off the 405 on Springdale. There be bargains out there!
