When most people think of an appraiser they have an image of someone who is measuring and taking pictures of a house. Well, some houses have huge bells in them.

Eric Webster was able to spend 6 weeks in and around Montreal appraising churches. During the peak of leaf peeping season no less! It was during Eric's time up there which lead to one of his top most interesting occurrences in the field.

This included signing witness to a prayer held by a priest, with one of the most amazing back stories, to close down one of his churches. The quiet and solemn was not on the days schedule. Working in the field as an appraiser can make for an interesting day. What are some of the appraisals you're most proud of?

Casa Lorena is located in Mérida historic downtown in Mexico and is part of what was once a house from the beginning of the 20th century, the property has been divided several times until reaching its current dimensions with only 4.5 meters front, a quarter of its original size.
