📅 Labor Day morning, I stepped outside and my neighborhood was QUIET.
No construction, garbage trucks or *that guy* roaring his motorcycle down the street. Just a beautiful morning and and unexpected sense of calm.
And then, I NOTICED it. The quiet. The serenity.
That felt especially good because there are plenty of things in my life that aren't figured out right now. I'm looking for part-time work, again, to supplement my real estate business. There are bills to pay, business and life decisions to make, new routines I'm still trying to build... you know, life, lifing. 😂
None of that magically disappeared. But for just a little while, it was quiet. It was peaceful. And I savored it.
I'm so glad I recognized that moment and stopped long enough to enjoy the fact that my ears weren't ringing and my nervous system was calm, even if just for a minute.
It's the gentle reminder that don't have to wait until the job is found, the bills are paid, the decision is made, or everything feels settled before we're allowed to enjoy what's good right now.
Sometimes peace sneaks in before we've figured everything out.
Thank goodness. ❤️
