For five generations, the Corliss family has believed in service, hard work, and building something for generations to come. Today, we pause to remember those who served and sacrificed for this country, including members of our own family who answered that call during World War II. Harry Corliss enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1941 and served for five years. During the war, he sent his monthly paychecks home to help invest in and grow the family business, which he would later return to build alongside his father, eventually becoming Corliss Management Group.

We are grateful for the freedoms and opportunities their sacrifice made possible. Thank you to all servicemen and women, and especially to those who gave their lives in service to others. 💙🇺🇸

Markets change. Capital markets tighten. The assets that tend to hold up usually share a few things in common:

▶️ Real income

We’re seeing the market reward those fundamentals again. Across , investors are becoming more selective and placing greater emphasis on stable cash flow, disciplined underwriting, and long-term positioning over speculative upside.

At the same time, markets with sustained population growth, business migration, and durable tenant demand continue to attract long-term attention, particularly across many Mountain West and Sun Belt regions.

For us, this business has always been personal. We grew up watching what long-term investment can do for a community. Not just financially, but what it creates for families, local businesses, and the people who live there every day.
That perspective continues to shape how we operate through both Corliss Management Group and 1892 Capital Partners LLC, an affiliated lending platform of Corliss Management Group.

Yes, we care deeply about disciplined underwriting, strong assets, and long-term ownership. But we also care about what happens after the transaction closes. The goal has never been growth for the sake of growth. It’s building places, relationships, and investments that hold up over time and positively impact the communities we are part of.

Washington will always be home, but we’re excited to continue that work across Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Hawaii, and the communities we have the opportunity to invest in moving forward.

As we spend more time in the market, a few patterns have become clear. There is still deal flow, but the opportunities that hold up tend to share a few characteristics:

▶️ Income that is already performing, not projected

▶️ Simple, understandable business plans

▶️ Assets that can hold through different market conditions

We continue to spend most of our time around retail, commercial, and industrial opportunities that fit that profile. Across , , , and , we are actively evaluating acquisitions with a preference for single-tenant assets, while staying flexible when the fundamentals support it.
