The President just announced major restrictions on new H-1B visas. Starting this week, companies can only bring in new H-1B workers if they pay a $100,000 fee per worker — at least for the next 12 months.

What does this mean?

- Fewer H-1B visa workers may be entering the U.S. in the near future.
- In areas like Western Washington — especially tech-heavy hubs like Seattle, Redmond, and Bellevue — this could affect both housing demand and job stability for current H-1B families.
