This home is the best deal in a very active West Seattle market. I don't get a lot of these anymore, maybe 1 every couple of years? It's livable, but it needs some updating and appliances. It's in the Arbor Heights part of West Seattle, just above the ferries and just off 35th, It sits on a large lot, a flag lot, for maximum privacy. There have been some upgrades, but with $5,000 - $10,000 worth of upgrades and appliances, the value would be easily in the mid $400,000's before the summer value increases kick in. The seller is asking $399,950, you'll be hard pressed to find anything in Seattle, livable, 2 bedrooms, for under $400,000. If you have any interest in getting into a purchase to rent out, you'd take advantage of the best interest rates of my lifetime, and you could earn a few hundred dollars in passive income with a good tenant.
Very large kitchen, just needs some final touches.....Nice wood floors that could be refinished for maximum beauty, or you can cover with carpet for an inexpensive wood floor protectant. The bathroom is simple, needs a mirror or medicine cabinet and some lighting. Gas furnace, good roof, newer paint, large driveway that could have a garage installed, also has alley access for back entrance or parking. Yard is easy to maintain and has a tiny shop for crafts or storage.
