The market has finally balanced itself out. Yes, interest rates are higher, but this is a great time to negotiate seller paid interest rate buy-downs. For example, a 2/1 buy-down will reduce your interest rate 2% the first year, and 1% the second year. Many experts believe interest rates will go back down next year, giving you the opportunity to take advantage of lower home prices now, and refinance to a lower rate in the near future.
