Rob is the first of its kind in downtown Portland, and reinforces our safety measures for our valued tenants and visitors at U.S. Bancorp Tower. Manufactured by Knightscope, Inc., Rob stands tall at 5’5”, weighs in at 420 pounds, and is equipped with state-of-the-art features, including:

🎥 Continuous 4K video surveillance with 360-degree visibility
🌡️ Thermal imaging to detect potential threats
🗣️ Two-way intercom for seamless communication with Unico's security officers
🔊 Amplified speaker for necessary alert broadcasting
🚗 License Plate Recognition to monitor unwanted vehicles
🚨 Be On the Look Out (BOLO) alerts for banned individuals

🌟 Attention Portland Art Enthusiasts! 🎨✨

Unico Properties and Portland Street Art Alliance are pleased to unveil “Radiance”, a picturesque mural gracing the exterior of U.S. Bancorp Tower parking garage!

This 120 foot masterpiece is a collaboration between local artists KSRA and They Drift, who received inspiration from local commercial and public art seen throughout the city. This mural adds vibrant cultural expression to Ankeny Triangle, creating a must-see destination in the heart of the city. 🏙️

“Since the pandemic, this area of downtown has really suffered. Over the last year we, alongside our neighbors, collaborated with the City of Portland's Public Environmental Management Office to make Ankeny Triangle a beautiful, walkable, must-see destination for locals and visitors alike. The wall, along the parking garage across from U.S. Bancorp Tower serves as a perfect canvas for this quintessentially Portland and vibrant, cultural expression of joy,” said Keren Eichen, Unico Properties Director of Real Estate Services.

🏆 Big News! Unico Properties Secures Deal of the Year at NAIOP’s Night of the Stars Award Gala! 🌟

We're honored for clinching this prestigious award, recognizing our success in securing a 75,000 sq ft lease at 2323 Elliott—the largest new office lease by a private company in 2023. Insight Global, a premier staffing agency, is set to relocate from Bellevue to the new Seattle Waterfront, occupying the entire building and contributing to true market absorption.

NAIOP's Night of the Stars awards gala is all set to honor local real estate companies and their exceptional projects that have left a lasting mark on the community. We're thrilled to announce that Unico is a finalist in not one, but two prestigious categories at this year's Night of the Stars Gala:

1️⃣ Redevelopment of the Year - Bellevue Connection: Unico took a failed retail asset and successfully transformed the building into high-end office and retail space with an aesthetically appealing exterior that rivals newer construction in the market.

2️⃣ Deal of the Year – Office Lease at 2323 Elliott: Unico leased 75,000 square feet of office space at 2323 Elliott Avenue in Seattle, the largest private office lease thus far in 2023, and complete net absorption for the Seattle market.

🌟 Exciting Milestone Alert! 🏢✨ Galleria Receives Coveted LEED Platinum & Fitwel 2-Star Certification!

We're thrilled to announce a momentous achievement for our Galleria building in the heart of Portland, Oregon. Galleria has been recognized with not one, but two prestigious sustainability and wellness certifications, making it a beacon of excellence in the real estate environment.

LEED Platinum: Awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), this is the gold standard for environmentally responsible and resource-efficient building design. Galleria stands out with its Platinum rating in the LEED v4 BD+C: Core and Shell rating system. 🏅 This is a tremendous achievement for a historic building, but well deserved given the significant reduction in energy use achieved by the property. Remarkably, Galleria is one of only nine buildings in all of Oregon to achieve Platinum in BD+C: Core and Shell.

Fitwel 2-Star Certification: This achievement underscores our commitment to fostering a healthy, wellness-focused workplace. Fitwel's Workplace Scorecard evaluates 12 crucial aspects contributing to occupational health and well-being. Galleria's 2-Star Certification places it among an elite group of approximately 15 buildings in the state of Oregon with at least 2-Stars.

Unico's U.S. Bancorp Proudly Hosts 15th Annual Firefighter Stair Climb for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness 🚒🏢💪

On September 24th, Unico's U.S. Bancorp, locally known as "Big Pink," played host to the 15th annual Firefighter Stair Climb Challenge. The event drew in over 120 participants, including firefighters, endurance athletes, and everyday climbers, who embarked on the formidable journey of ascending the towering 40-story building. The event raised over $80,000, with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 🙌

The firefighter participants wore a remarkable 70 pounds of combat gear, while some athletic individuals elected to don a 70-pound weighted vest, allowing them to experience the physical challenges faced by our heroic first responders. Added weight or not, this is an incredible accomplishment to all who participated!

Nestled in the heart of Portland, U.S. Bancorp stands as the largest office building in the state, proudly representing a flagship asset within Unico's diverse portfolio. Unico is deeply honored to have hosted such an impactful event and is inspired by the awareness and funds raised towards Cystic Fibrosis research. 💙🌍

Last month, Unico Properties proudly joined forces with the Portland business community for the inaugural 'We Believe in Portland' initiative, dedicated to cleaning up our beloved city. 🚮

In collaboration with Adopt One Block, Unico, along with around a hundred other local businesses, dedicated a portion of their workday to cleaning up downtown Portland. AdoptOneBlock generously supplied us with the necessary cleaning materials for the event, and they'll continue to support those who signed up by providing future cleaning kits. Together, we're committed to restoring the beauty of Portland.

Unico Properties is honored to accept this year’s CRE Leadership Award for Deal of the Year. 🏆

This recognition, hosted by Puget Sound Business Journal was awarded to Unico’s Longacres campus. Andrew Cox, Senior Vice Present of Leasing and Investor Management, accepted the award on behalf of Unico.

Located in Renton, Longacres is a 158-acre site with a significant vision to transform the site into one of the most compelling mixed-use development projects in the Puget Sound region. We’re proud to have secured two prominent tenants, Alaska Airlines and Seattle Sounders FC, both with strong ties to the region. The master plan includes repositioning one million square feet of existing office space plus an array of potential mixed use elements which are being explored.
