Okay, this one is pretty fun.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly just purchased a $5.35M lakefront estate outside Cleveland — and the deal was represented by our very own colleagues at The Agency Cleveland, David Ayers and Nick Zawitz. ❤️

One of my favorite things about being part of The Agency is seeing the reach of our network in action. From West Seattle to Lake Erie (and apparently a few very familiar names in between 😉), it really is a small world in real estate.

We welcomed brokers, prospective buyers and members of the Lake Chelan community for an evening filled with great conversation, delicious bites and the opportunity to experience our remarkable Lake Chelan listing – The Respite at Hawks Meadow. One of the evening’s most memorable moments was watching a talented local artist capture the home’s breathtaking Lake Chelan view on canvas—painting it live from the property’s perspective. We also raffled off a fabulous gift basket thoughtfully curated by The Culinary Apple.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase not only this extraordinary home, but also the talented people, local businesses and welcoming community that make Lake Chelan such an incredible place to call home.

THIS MARKET REQUIRES MORE STRATEGY.

This has been a hesitant market. Buyers have more choices, sellers are weighing their options, and everyone is moving a little more carefully.

As your real estate advisor, my job isn’t to wait for the market to get easier. It’s to help create a strategy that works in the market we’re actually in.

And right now, that means getting more creative and working together to help buyers and sellers move.

That may include:

• Contingent offers
• Selling for less, but buying for even less
• Downsizing and putting years of equity to work
• Negotiating seller concessions
• Exploring first-time buyer programs
• Helping renters compare the real cost of renting vs. owning
• Structuring terms that solve problems for both sides

Buyers have something valuable right now: inventory, options, negotiating power and time.

That window won’t last forever.

July’s market numbers are in!

Across King, Snohomish and Pierce counties, more homes came to market compared to this time last year, giving buyers more options as we move through the summer market.

King County saw the biggest jump in new listings at nearly 15%, while closed sales were down year-over-year. Snohomish and Pierce counties both saw an increase in new listings and closed sales, with average sale prices down compared to July 2025.

For buyers, increased inventory may mean more choice and a little more breathing room. For sellers, pricing and positioning continue to be key.
