🕯️ On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the lives lost to violence, neglect, and discrimination. Homophobia and transphobia not only foster violence but often push members of the trans community into homelessness.

🚪 Many trans individuals face rejection from their families, discrimination in housing, and barriers to employment—leaving them vulnerable to life on the streets. Without access to safe housing, they become at higher risk for violence, poor mental health, and tragic outcomes.

While we remeber those who loss their lives, we also encourage to be more love throughout the community to stop this cycle.

🇺🇸 This Veterans Day, as we honor those who served, we also want to highlight an important issue: many veterans face homelessness after their service.

🪖 Barriers like mental health challenges, PTSD, unemployment, and lack of affordable housing leave too many without a place to call home. In Washington State, veterans make up around 6% of the homeless population.

🏠 Let’s honor their sacrifices by advocating for better mental health support, housing assistance, and employment programs.
