Man, where to begin. The last few days have been devastating to and I. We brought our little boy home in August 2019 during our darkest hour. While we had already decided on his brother Moony, I saw a little kitten in the back of the kennel. He was hunkered down, looked terrified to be there and barely ate because his siblings would only leave him the leftovers. I couldn’t explain it, but I knew we had an unspoken connection. He needed me and I most definitely needed him.
Over the next 5.5 years, Padfoot was our special little boy. He always needed extra encouragement to eat as his tongue wasn’t coarse like his brothers to lap up his food. I spent over 1500 hours spoon feeding him but man would I do anything to do it again. I’ll always be grateful to him for saving my life. He gave us unconditional love, taught patience and care. I’d never had a pet before and had to learn as I went. I’ll always miss my little man. Love you Padfoot. Rest easy little boy, I’ll never forget you. 💔
