We're lucky to have team members who are passionate golfers. This summer, Jeremy McPherson, Bret Larson, Patrick Hennessy, Elizabeth Schalka, Jenna Leland, and Todd McIntyre took that passion to the course at a variety of industry golf events.

The fun kicked off in June at the BOMA Greater Seattle Golf Tournament, where we teamed up with friends at First Onsite Property Restoration and CBRE for a 2nd-place finish. Then, we took on the Evolution Architecture Tournament at Redmond Ridge alongside CBRE and JLL.

July brought the SW Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering Tournament at McCormick Woods, where we teamed up with Snyder Roofing for a T-2 finish — great motivation to go one better next year.

This month, Clise Properties fielded a team at the CREDA Washington State Golf Tournament at Newcastle. And, most recently, Elizabeth and Patrick wrapped up the summer at the Greater Seattle Chapter of IFMA Tournament at Washington National, teaming up with Monarch Landscape Companies and CBRE.

These events always remind us how much stronger our industry relationships can be when we build them outside the office (and on the fairway). Thanks to everyone who hosted us this summer… until the next tee time! ⛳

📸 Behind the scenes at our Clise Topgolf outing where we teed up some lovely memories!

Golf has always been something of an unofficial company sport around here, so it’s no surprise our annual Topgolf event is a team favorite. This particular gathering was extra special, with Clise Properties having grown to nearly 60 people over the past year.

With colleagues working across many different properties, and even different cities, Topgolf is a unique chance to bring everyone together for an afternoon of friendly competition, catching up, and working on (or good-naturedly roasting) our swings. Whether aiming for a hole-in-one or just aiming to hit the ball, a great time was had by all.

Thanks to everyone who came out for such a fun afternoon. We can’t wait until next year! ⛳

A shoutout to our friends at GreystarSeattle!

Greystar has managed McKenzie, our premier apartment community in South Lake Union, since it opened in 2018. Now, we’re thrilled to have Greystar as tenants at 1700 7th — bringing a partnership we’ve valued for a long time even closer to home.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with team members like Chea Lucero, Pam McKenna, Brad Carman, and Jill McNeish for many years, and it’s exciting to have them here in the same building as our Clise Properties office. Here’s to many more years of collaboration with Greystar! 🎉

Allenmore I & II have a fresh new look! This beautiful campus has long been a cornerstone of Tacoma's medical community, and Clise Properties recently gave it a well-deserved update.

The refresh was coordinated by One Workplace Seattle, with Courtney Alfaro and Maggie Arneson bringing their expertise to the design. A huge thank you to Rita Wells, Allenmore's Property Manager, for her dedication in leading this project — it was her first property refresh, and she did a fantastic job.

As you can see, the results speak for themselves: light-filled lobbies, warm modern finishes, and a space that welcomes tenants and visitors alike. And with the campus' signature cherry blossom tree just outside, it's hard to imagine a more fitting entrance to the property.

📸 A look back at our Clise Properties Tenant Appreciation BBQ, an afternoon of sunshine, good food, and even better company!

Nearly 300 tenants from 1700 7th and our Seattle Collection properties gathered on 1700 7th's stunning 10,000 SF deck, where the building's newly upgraded amenity spaces set the scene for a lovely summer soirée.

From civil engineers to fashion models, hair stylists to general contractors, nonprofits and beyond, it was a true snapshot of the incredible mix of industries that call our properties home. Add in coveted raffle prizes (shoutout to Patrick Hennessy, Senior Property Manager, for being our emcee!) and no shortage of great conversation, and it made for an afternoon to remember. New faces on the Clise team got to mingle with our extended tenant family for the first time, a reminder of just how special this community is.

After 25 remarkable years with Clise Properties, Kim Hornung is retiring from her role as Senior Executive Assistant & Office Manager to embark on the next exciting chapter of her life. A few of Kim’s longtime colleagues shared their thoughts on working alongside her for so many years, sentiments echoed by all of us on the Clise team.

Pauline Shih, Tax Manager, writes, “Kim is truly the heartbeat of our office. She has always shown dedication to her work, grace under pressure, and unmatched organizational skills. She also knows how to bring fun into the daily grind of work life. Doing the stair challenge with her during our morning breaks — going back and forth between the 10th and 24th floors — energized me and kept me going for the rest of the day. Kim loves traveling and has visited many places throughout Europe, and it has always been so much fun hearing her travel stories. She is a wonderful colleague and friend to all of us. Happy retirement, Kim!”

Bryan Joyner, President & CFO, adds, “I have had the pleasure of working side-by-side with Kim as CFO of Clise. She has been instrumental in all phases of our company’s growth and success during her 25 years of dedication. She deserves all the accolades she will receive!”

Seattle's best-kept secret might just be on the 10th floor of 1700 7th. Tucked above the city, our 10,000 SF rooftop terrace (exclusive to tenants and their guests) recently got a refresh, and it's never looked better. Think long lunches in the sun, coffee catch-ups, or getting work done with a skyline view instead of a cubicle wall. Our team is always looking for an excuse to have impromptu meetings out on the patio! 😎
