Loved working with these clients. They had an interesting ride that ultimately worked out for the best. Long story short, they had been in contract for a condo initially but upon HOA review, it was revealed that the condo development had a significant list of required repairs, an underfunded HOA reserve and what would have been a large assessment coming for owners that wasn’t finalized yet.
Luckily, they had some contingencies in place and were able to back out and recover their earnest money.
Then they found the townhouse that would become their new home! No HOA and in a location that was originally their first choice of where they wanted to be.
