SEPTEMBER MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊

Homebuyers across the NWMLS service area had more options in September, with active listings reaching their highest level since 2014. 🏡 Inventory was up 24.5% from last year, giving buyers more opportunities to find the right home. While sales were lower, the market continues to offer a wider selection.

Here’s a little breakdown:

• September’s closed sales were 8.9% lower year-over-year.
• There were 24.5% more active homes listed than last September.
• The median sales price was $625,000.

According to a 2025 NAR survey, the top three factors buyers consider when choosing a neighbourhood are quality of the area, proximity to friends and family, and overall affordability. 📊 Interestingly, proximity to work — which was the number one factor back in 2014 — has dropped significantly down the list. AUGUST MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊

Homebuyers across much of Washington had more properties to consider in August, with active listings increasing significantly from a year ago. While sales and median prices eased, the larger selection gave buyers more choice as they navigated the market.

Here’s a little breakdown:

• Last month's closed sales were 7.6% lower than a year ago.
• There were 22.0% more active listings than last August.
• The median sales price for residential homes and condominiums was $635,000.
