Completely irresponsible waxwing birds tend to eat fermented fruit and then lie drunk on the sidewalks. Wise passers-by collect them and put them in a safe place until they sober up. Sometimes, they even try to fly and end up crashing into windows or falling off branches like tiny, confused daredevils.

Mike’s Family Tradition
Every year my girls get a trash bag(s) and fill it with toys and stuff animals that they no longer play with, they then put under the Tree for Santa to take back to North Pole, and he can fix them up and give them to children next year. I love doing this with them, and they absolutely love it! (I will take bags to Salvation Army or a Toy drop for Children)

I do this in early December, so there’s time for these items to be claimed or purchased in time for Christmas.

I have such a soft spot for Bremerton, so much so I ride the ferry over and bring friends along! Brem'town is a 28 min fast ferry or 1 hour "slow boat" ferry to Seattle; both have their benefits. The town's beauty is in the Sound access and the Olympic mountain views, and the folks are salt of the earth; kind and friendly. As a realtor I'll be the first to shout it's praises for value. If you have never purchased a home with a mortgage, you might not realize the historical lows interest rates are these days. The current rates hover around 3.6% compared to 1981 when the same loan was 16.63%. In other words, the same loan today would be a monthly payment of roughly about $2300, while 1981's rate would be prohibitive at almost $7000 a month.
